The worldwide beauty leader, L’Oréal is present in 140 countries. By implementing Diversity initiatives relevant to the societies where our team members live and work, they enable us to become more and more inclusive throughout the world.
France: L'Oréal has partnered with Capital Filles to create a positive social and economic impact for young girls through mentoring. Female L'Oréal employee volunteers are paired with high school girls to providementorship, rolemodeling, and career guidance.
India: L'Oréal Pakistan’s Naya Aghaaz program is providing beauty care job skills training for women with disabilities from less privileged backgrounds. Through this training program, women have been able to gain access to employment and leadmore empowered lives.
Pakistan: L’Oréal China and the leading Chinese e-commerce retailer JD.com jointly established “Inclusive Beauty”, a training program to equip disabled people with the skills necessary for positions in online retail.
UK: L'Oréal UK & Ireland’s #BeatTheStigma initiative is raising awareness of mental health in the workplace in order to remove the culture of fear and silence around discussing these issues. To beat the stigma, they have launched a Mental Health Think Tank, developed mindfulness workshops, and trained employees to become Mental Health First Aiders.

Portugal: L’Oréal Portugal in partnership with the Girl Move Foundation provides 1-month internships for young women from Mozambique to help develop their leadership, business, and entrepreneurial skills. The program, in turn, has enabled the mentors and their teams to develop integration, talent development, and diversity and inclusion skills.

Brazil: L'Oréal is supporting the development of social startups through a mentorship program. A multifunctional group of volunteer L’Oréal employees works hand-in-hand with social entrepreneurs to help them develop their business models and strategic business plans.
Germany: L'Oréal Germany’s INTERNgration project integrates young refugees into the workforce through a 6-month L'Oréal internship. The project is a joint effort between government authorities and other companies and associations working with refugees in Germany. Since its inception in 2017, L’Oréal Germany teams have integrated 10 refugees.
USA: L'Oréal leverages employee resource groups to drive employee engagement, contribute to business results and provide support efforts to give back to underrepresented communities. Their LGBTQI employee resource group, [email protected]'Oréal, was launched in 2017. These efforts have resulted in being named “a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ employees” and obtaining a 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equity Index.
Mexico: L'Oréal Mexico is creating a safe space and positive work environment for LGBTI employees with their FREE TO BE project. To date, they have created an LGBTI employee resource group, joined a business coalition for LGBTI inclusion, and participated in the Pride Parade.
